Commercial Description:
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Schneider Weisse pours to a very opaque deep blonde color with a huge rocky, white head, and a very lively carbonation. If possible, one should drink this beer out of the proper 1/2 liter weisse glass to enjoy the visual beauty, as well as the aromas of this beer. Hefeweizen is a wheat beer brewed with up to 50% malted wheat, and is sedimented with yeast. You want to roust the yeast by swirling it and then pouring it into the beer. Yeast is an essential flavor element in this beer style. The nose on this beer is fantastic. Tart wheat malt aromas marry with funky, clove, and banana aromas. The palate is a firm malt back bone, of pale and wheat malts, very tart and refreshing. Some nice fruity esters are present as well, hints of pear or perhaps melon. This beer finishes with more tart wheat character, and more of that banana and clove flavor. This is a fantastic Bavarian hefeweizen, a classic. Match this beer with weisse wurst sausages, egg noodles, and saurkraut

This is perfection in a bottle... even better on tap. If you are a German weizen fan, try this. It’s clove-yeast aroma takes me back to Germany. It has a refreshing taste with moderate carbination. It is my favorite in the world!

This is my favorite Hefe-Weizen. Amber in color, giant white head. Flavor is so smooth and the aftertaste is wonderful. Buy this beer and learn to enjoy one of the best beers Germany has to offer.

My favorite of all the Bavarian Hefe-Weizens. A little bigger and bolder than the every-day Weisse, it never fails to quench a thirst and please through a great complexity of flavors.

Wheat beer is my favorite style of beer. Ive tried many different types of wheat beer from countries around the world. This one has to be my #1 (very close) over all the rest. The taste and carbination of this is exactly what I look for in the best wheat beer. Ayinger brau weisse or Maisels weisse are others that is very similar to this one which I enjoy a lot but not quite as much as schneider weisse. This one is harder for me to find and costs more so I usually buy hacker pschorr, paulaner, ludwig which I love but not like schneider or the others I mentioned. This is just my opinion on how I love to taste wheat beer like this does. This beers evil twin is also the best dark wheat beer Ive had also.

0.5l bottle. Pours a cream golden brown, with a smallish head. Little visible carbonation. The strong aroma is wonderful. Banana, citrus, wheat, yeast and some nuts. Palette slightly sour and bitter at the same time, yet smooth, and leaves the tongue tingling, but is a little oily. Taste is fantastic. Elements of banana, nuts, yeast, cloves. Absolutely fantastic.

An awesome hefe-weizen. The original beer of the genre, and if not the best, then right up there. Dark for the style, and extremely flavorful; the banana-clove is on full display with this puppy. A classic beer.
