Tastes exactly as it smells, about medium malt darkness in the flavour and some banana and a slight cirtusy bit of flavour. Very, very smooth, a bit of residue the aftertaste but not at all unpleasant. Quite nice, I have to rate the Hacker Schoor just a bit nicer though.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 5, 2009 16 oz. bottle- Pours darker than a golden Hefe but lighter than a dark Hefe, with a nice thick head and perfect lacing. The aroma is wheat and citrus, and the flavor is not as good as the Weihenstephaner Hefe, but is still good, overall the Weihenstephaner was superior in almost every way, which is interesting because it’s the Scheneider Weisse that is the Original Bavarian Hefe. radagast83 (1302), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 1, 2009 500 ml bottle. Pours a pale, but cloudy light brown color with a medium white head. Aroma is touches of sweet honey, with spices, and a touch of fruit (banana). Touches of yeast and bubblegum sweetness. A quality go-to beer when I’m feeling a decent German Hefeweizen. inbirraveritas (35), Budapest, Hungary

Pretty pale-brown and hazy color, but the head runs down quickly (Maybe my glass’ fault or whatever).
Smelling is yeasty, little bit watery, fruity.
The taste is mild, flavour is fruity and sweet.
Finish is light-bitter and dry.

Medium body and well balanced sweetnes vs spicyness. One of the best classical weissbier there is to be had. A superior beer!!!!!! KM (238), Tromsø, Norway

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 21, 2009 500ml bottle poured into a Weizen glass. Poured a cloudy orange-copper colour with a puffy 1.5" head. Darker then most other wheat beers but it still looks quite appealing. Aroma of sweet bread dough, bananas, some fruity sourness and some spices. A bit like a combination of sweet buns and banana bread. Smells delicious. Tastes similar to the Aroma. Lots of sweetness up front like honey and caramel. There’s also a bit of toasted grains and roasted nuts in the flavour. Nice fruity tang in the middle with a bit of spiciness in the finish. Pleasant lemon and orange sour aftertaste. Great full bodied feel. Great carbonation. Nice sticky fruity tangy sweetness covers the inside of the mouth. Very drinkable. Best enjoyed slow. Similar to other Hefeweizens but it has it’s own uniqueness to make it stand out. lithy (1720), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Kind of ugly yellow-brown, tight white foam, dry, musty, yeasty aroma. Light citrus. Taste is more oranges, wheat, yeasty must. junon (221), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 10, 2009 Spicy bread bouquet and lack of he common banana aroma. Appearance is as the description says "amber-mahogany" and not the dulled golden you’d expect from a Hefeweizen. Flavour also is more spicy and bready than the fruity. This is such a hefeweizen in every way but different in every way from all the others. Very interesting and very, very good.
