Commercial Description:
With its amber-mahogany coloring and streaked with fine top-fermented yeast, this beer has a fine, persistent head that adheres well to the glass. It is pleasantly fruity with a typical top-fermented smell, an aroma of clove and nutmeg apple tantalizes the nose. On the tongue it is fresh, clean, full-bodied, harmonious and well-balanced. It finishes with a light, delicate taste of bitters leaving behind a sour impression.

Pours an orange with a nice head of off white bubbles. Aroma soft banana. Clean malty slight-citrus flavor hits the tongue with a perfect amount of carbonation before giving way to banana, and apricot. World Class!

Bottle. Pours clear, dark amber with a fizzy white head that quickly diminishes to surface cover. Aroma is of banana, molasses, clove and honey. Flavour is very similar but is a little more grainy, with the sweet fruitiness more subdued. Medium body with lots of prickly carbonation and a long dry, bitter finish. Very nice, and almost perfectly balanced; even though hefeweizens aren’t my favourite style this one is very enjoyable.

In bottle; solid sweet, citrus (orange) aroma. Poured a dark golden brown/honey color. Taste, orange and spcie notes, light bodied. Almost a lager meets a weisse beer/would be good for those they don’t like weisse beers alot

[2621-20091203] 500mL bottle. Sweet heavy banana malt aroma. Hazy, dark brown amber body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Banana flavour is sweet with tasty fruit malt. Medium body. Not bad, a nice surprise!

500 ml bottle. Pours a surprisingly dark golden brown with a huge thick pillowy off white head. Aroma is very clove, sweet and bready, banana, yeast, spicy, pretty light and perfumey. Flavor is fairly basic. Some spice, clove etc but not really enough of it. Stays sweet, a bit gummy and banana candy but mostly sweet and sugary. Medium body and a sharp fizzy carbonation. Really basic and boring in the flavor, not awful just bland.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellowish-reddish brown, with a decent foamy head. Interesting look for a hefe... Citrusy aroma, with some ginger and spiciness. Nice banana, orange, and citrus hit in the taste. Mild chewiness, mild bready malt. This one’s got some character, something I really like to see in hefeweizens, nice one!

16 oz. bottle- Pours darker than a golden Hefe but lighter than a dark Hefe, with a nice thick head and perfect lacing. The aroma is wheat and citrus, and the flavor is not as good as the Weihenstephaner Hefe, but is still good, overall the Weihenstephaner was superior in almost every way, which is interesting because it’s the Scheneider Weisse that is the Original Bavarian Hefe.

500 ml bottle. Pours a pale, but cloudy light brown color with a medium white head. Aroma is touches of sweet honey, with spices, and a touch of fruit (banana). Touches of yeast and bubblegum sweetness. A quality go-to beer when I’m feeling a decent German Hefeweizen.

0.5 l bottle. Pretty pale-brown and hazy color, but the head runs down quickly (Maybe my glass’ fault or whatever). Smelling is yeasty, little bit watery, fruity. The taste is mild, flavour is fruity and sweet. Finish is light-bitter and dry. Refreshes!
