unfiltered, hazy brown, bubbly. Sour, fruity, creamy and buttery. plum, honey and raisin. tastes a little like a christmas dessert: rice porridge with cinnamon and plum soup.

Dark yellow-brown colored with huge yellow head. Chocolaty and grainy aroma with some licorice also, ncie one, though not too traditional with only slight banana. Thin to medium bodied, crispy palated. Flavor is thinner with mild chocolate and some sourness, aftertaste dries strongly with some yeast. Well interesting aroma, not too special flavor.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are banana, yeast and malt. More dark in color than in taste.

I’m a big fan of the Hofer, and was delighted in finding this version of Frankfurt’s finest. It is not as dark as an average Dunkle, and seemed a little light in the first taste. There is defiantly a bit of a banana taste to it but it is too thin. If I was blindfolded I would not think it was a dunkle, there is no malt aroma. It is too refreshing, but overall disappointed, and the taste is average.

Bottle Leipzig department store. Bland thin and dull, a bit fruity. Does have some spice on the top (cardamom) - seems too dry overall. But refreshing. Thin hoppy aroma. Mildly sweet.

Bottle. Thanks a bunch faroeviking. Cloudy amber brown colour with a huge creamy light beige head. Aroma of banana and clove. Flavour is spicy with a good malt base and fruity banana. Bit thin palate. Nice thirst quencher.

Bottled at Monks Cafe, Stockholm. Pours out in a cloudy dark brown colour with a lively beige foam. The aroma is dominated by cloves and mashed bananas with hints of nuts and cocoa. Light-bodied with notes ofbanana, cloves and almonds. Mild spicy finish of yeast, cloves, vanilla and banana.
