| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 18, 2007 I like dark hefeweizens, but this one not. Too raostmalty aroma, tastes also too malty and dry. The worst beer of the Schöfferhofer-family. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA

It’s a medium bodied beer with a sweet, yeasty flavor. It’s smooth and drinkable, but nothing special, just a very average example of the style. Enjoyit (1772), Vadum, Denmark

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 29, 2007 Bottle. Unclear, orange-brown body with a dense, beige head on top. Banana, caramel and a touch of butterscotch on the nose. The same goes for the flavor, but the butterscotch is a bit more subdued here, and there are some cloves as well. It’s quite fizzy in the mouth, medium fullness, and finishes slightly sweetish. The carbonation level hides the flavor too much, else it is a quite nice and quaffable beer. (070806)
