| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 7, 2008 (33cl bottle) Cloudy, orange colour with a medium-sized and persistent, slightly yellow foamy head. Light-sweet and sourish fruity aroma with distinctive note of grapefruit. Sweet and citrus fruity flavour, slim bodied and lively carbonated mouthfeel. Grapefruit is dominating the taste; yeasty and moderate wheat-malty accents are detectable towards the finish. Easy going and pretty refreshing (04.06.08). berkshirejohn (1831), Bracknell, Berkshire, England

This one really tastes of proper fruit, not something from a chemical plant, and also clearly contains Hefeweizen - or perhaps that should be opaquely contains Hefeweizen. The aroma has sweet grapefruit and orange; the colour is hard to describe - pink grapefruit mixed with cloudy beer is exactly what it looks like. The taste is fruity, and tart but with an underlying chalky wheat characteristic. I agree with Mes - this is a great drink, even if it’s not beer as we know it. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 27, 2008 A Mes rate: bottle at Zeitgeist. Cloudy yellow gold with a big head that settles quickly to a thin film. Apparently smells just like Araciata (an Italian soft drink), all I know is that it smells awesome. Fantastic fresh grapefruit with loads of orange and lemon and citric as hell. Flavour is similar. Full on fruit juice. There are no beery qualities in this at all. Ok there is some VERY slight hefeweizen in there but this is just a proper thirst quenching summer drink. Bitter, tart and citric finish. It’s not even close to a beer really and I’m sure plenty of you are going to think I’m mad but I love it. Magicdave6 (5558), London, Greater London, England
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 26, 2008 Bottle from aldi, 6 for £3! Iv gone off hefe’s recently so i wasnt expecting much. However though this beast is noteably thin, the carbonation seems slightly less, and the alround citrus goodness, grapefruit aswell as lime, make it very tastyu indeed. Incredibly drinkable, possibly the win on a hangover. Id say its better than thier ordinary hefe. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

Grapefruit is probably my fave fruit drink, and it works in this beer. Kind of a beer for when you don’t want a beer. Refreshing sweet bittrness. A soft drink in all aspects, but very well done. Maybe i’m a pussy, but this was pretty good stuff. daniele (1738), Italy

Sweet flavoured of grapefruity, nice citric note and a very distinct and underlying banana wheaty flavour. Ends with a lingering mix of banana and grapefruit. Quite refreshing and perhaps one of the best German bier-mixes I’ve come across. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark
