An original fruit beer with pleasant grapefruit taste and aroma. I almost wouldn’t even realize it is beer. Tastes like a carbonated fruit cooler.

Tastes like grapefruit juice. Looks like grapefruit Juice. Aside from the carbination I can’t taste beer that much. Yet the after taste is like I just drank a wheat beer. Gotta give them some respect for trying this .

Botella. Hazy orange colour with a fair bubbly white head. Sweet fruity grapefruit. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour is soft and sweet with grapefruit, some orange and mild wheat. Refreshing but hardly a beer.

Bottle transparent (white), 330 ml, Grapefruit juice - 5.5%
Appearance: Pours cloudy orange, grapefruit with a drop of milk, carbonation of body is intensive and reminds a fizzy drink, the same is with head, it is initially medium and very quickly decreasing and finally disappearing completely, fizzy head quickly diminishing, so practically no head, all in all looks and behave like a fizzy drink.
Aroma: Practically dominated by grapefruit juice, there is some faint note of wheat deeply at the background, one dimentional, no malted barley, no hoppyness, the big plus is that fruit aroma is natural origin.
Flavour: Front is sweet, great domination of grapefruit juice, really a mix, drink consisting a grapefruit juice and very gentle wheat background, banana and clove notes typical of Weizen but much decreased and dominated by grapefruit juice. Finish duration is medium.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is mild, soft, finish feel is mineral, a bit accidic, rather flat.

Don’t like it. Deep orange colour, white head, mostly diminishing. Clear notes of grapefruit and a faint note of beer, bad beer. Flavor is heavy bitter and acidic. Perhaps a sweet start. Dry, watery texture.

I trued this beer on June 27, 2008 after purchasing from the Queen’s Quay LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy orange-pink with a thin white head. The aroma is primarily grapefruit, but some wheat and hops does come through. The mouthfeel is thin, but not quite watery, with medium carbonation. The flavour is as described, a grapefruit laden hefeweizen.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy bubbly orange-peach with an average size diminishing white head. Aroma of sweet grapefruit juice, sugar and some Hefe notes way in the back. Flavour of a carbonated (quite carbonated!) sweet grapefruit juice. It tastes and smells fine, kind of good actually -- but it’s not really a beer is it? Hard to rate this one. I have to admit though, I will be drinking more of these on a hot summer day.

33cl can: Pours cloudy shiny orange with a creamy egg white head. Sweet tropical grapefruit/orange nose. Smells like cheap juice. Fresh with a sour twist. Not very "beer-like" but actually drinkable!
