33cl bottle, 2.5% a/v According to my brother beers like this are common in germany in the summertime. Pours a hazy appearance with a slight hint of the tell-tale ruby red. The nose is slightly unusual, you are hit with the grapefruit punch but then the hefe comes through on the backside. The beer is a very refreshing mix, grapefruit obviously, with a bit of lime in there, but then on the aftertaste it mellows down into a very fine hefe taste. This is an excellent beer for thirst quenching, though maybe a bit light for my tastes. Not a bad summer treat though.

Surprisingly not bad. hazy orange lotsa fizzy head, nose is fresca, grapefruit. Flavor is grapefruit, citrus, and a little wheaty flav. pretty refreshing and could be a decent one in the summer

Pours a golden orange, with a thin white cap. Aroma of grapefruit, and a little bit of wheat. The flavour is as you would imagine very much grapefruit with a little heffe coming through in the flavour and palate. A little sweet for my taste, but overall it’s different, tasty, and refreshing.

Got a single bottle at LCBO. Very much like Fresca but with a more natural taste, not as pithy-bitter. and nicer aftertaste You can taste the hefe beer character under it. Very smooth texture. Highly drinkable. Recommend as a healthy alt to sodas or alco-pops. Not my kind of beer but very original and good for what it is.

Bottle, LCBO Summer 08 release. Golden orange, small white head - looks like orange soda pop. Tons of grapefruit in strong aroma with hints of a wheat beer in the background. Taste - well, it tastes like a decent wheat mixed with grapefruit juice. As much of a beer as a snakebite or shandy I guess. It is refreshing, but the sweetness of the grapefruit juice gets cloying as it warms. The over carbonation makes it seem like an alco-op though. Mildly interesting gimmick.

For something that I initially laughed at and couldn’t take seriously enough to buy upon first inspection, it’s actually pretty good. The bottle makes it look like some sort of lame-ass cooler like Bacardi Breezer or Smirnoff Ice or whatever, and in the glass it looks almost exactly like orange soda. But the aroma actually indicates that there may be genuine wheat beer in there somewhere, with a ridiculous amount of sweet grapefruit covering it up. Flavour is nice, very sweet, tastes oddly enough like grapefruit infused with Hefeweizen! The malts in the beer compliment the sweet grapefruit aspect quite well. It’s surprisingly drinkable, not cloyingly sweet or generally gross like some sort of alcopop, and at 2.5% you could practically give this to your children.

330 ml bottle- Pours a cloudy orange and is topped with a fizzy white cap. The aroma is a blast of grapefruit with orange creamsicle and citric pith. Quite inviting. This tastes too good to put down, but I understand this isn’t a full on beer. Its a 50/50 mix, and I can taste both banana , lemon, and spices from the hefe, but I can also taste sweet ruby red grapefruit and candy sugars. I don’t know which flavour is coming from where, but this is tasty and hella refreshing.
