The aroma is a blast of grapefruit with orange creamsicle and citric pith. Quite inviting. This tastes too good to put down, but I understand this isn’t a full on beer. Its a 50/50 mix, and I can taste both banana , lemon, and spices from the hefe, but I can also taste sweet ruby red grapefruit and candy sugars. I don’t know which flavour is coming from where, but this is tasty and hella refreshing. pootzboy (1048), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada

Pours a milky pale orange. small white cap some lacing.
Aroma distinctly citrus and not much else but some sweetness.
Thinish body, sweet citrus flavor, barely detectable malt presence, spritzy drying finish...tastes like grapefruit soda....far too sweet.
I tried it. I don’t need to try it again..I can’t see the point..fills a niche no one cares about.. armando629 (1014), Budapest, Hungary
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2008 What a color? Pinky-hazy amber appearance and a nice light pink head. The grapefruit perfume dominates in the aroma. Good balanced grapefruit in the flavor with a nice hefeweizen taste. Sourish citrus aftertaste. Good beermix in the sea of gruesome mixes. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 15, 2008 330 ml bottle - pours much like a glass of pink grapefruit juice with the addition of a slightly pinkish head. Aroma filled with fresh grapefruit - sour citrus and some slight breadiness. Flavour is where the hefewiezen part of this beer makes itself known. Fruitiness upfront with some yeast/banana following. Not amazing, but pretty good and better than many of the fruit beers I’ve had. Quality summer quaffer, nothing more, nothing less. robinvboyer (1444), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 14, 2008 cloudy pinkish pour, with a big white head that dissipates quickly. Strong aroma of grapefruit, citrus, with some notes of wheat, and some yeast. Wow, this is just like juice, it’s like a sparkling grapefruit juice. There is a hint of hefe int he finish cause i get a little bit of yeastiness, and some wheat, but really this is just juice. Enjoyable though, great warm weather beer. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 14, 2008 330 mL bottle. (bb 02/04/09). Cloudy pink-orange with just a ring of head. Aroma of fresh grapefruit and little else. Tastes like, well, grapefruit juice and light German wheat beer. Carbonation is perfect. I have to admit that I’m not a fan of fruit beers, but also that I love grapefruit. With these things in mind, my only expectation for this beer was that I wouldn’t like it. I was wrong. I like it. It’s a very acceptable summer beer. (Check out the ingredients. Carob powder?!?) Radek Kliber (3999), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Appearance: Hazed , murky bright orange look with short lived large bright white head. Nose Refreshing zesty orange grapefruit aromas with plenty of vitamin C 6+. Flavor/Palate : Light crisp refreshing tartness of grapefruit followed by bready wheat notes . Quiet refreshing on hot summer days. Well blended character of fruit and wheat beer. If you are looking for lighter fruit alternative this might be perfect choice.

Aroma of tart grapefruit candy, quite inviting. Medium bodied, quite crisp. Flavour - wow, this is quite nice! A great level of tartness, pleasant and natural tasting grapefruit flavour, very refreshing. I could easily go through a few of these on a warm summer day.
