Commercial Description:
Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and poor slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

Bottle. Hazy golden color, white head. Nice fruity aroma, some wheat, some banana, some spices. Flavor goes the same way. Banana notes, other fruits, some spices and notes of metal.

Slightly clouded - gold - off white head. Slightly frothy mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Sweet wheaty maltiness with banana. Very mild bitterness in finish.

Bought the bottle in Dresden Germany and brought it home to the USA. Tasted it at our annual tasting of 30 beers. It was very good; only week spot was the appearance.

This looks ok, typically hazy with a good rocky head. Lacks on aroma and flavour though. Thin and watery, lacking complexity, poor finish too. Had this a few years ago, liked it then, didn’t care too much for it now. Aldi, 99p.

50cl Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow/orange colour, smell of banana, yeast, wheat. Taste is crisp, some sweet banana, soft wheat. Even has a slightly bitter finish, nice!

Csapolva szoktam inni a kedvenc kiskocsmámban és nagyon kedvelem!Igazán fűszeres és gyümölcsös.Utóízében van egy kis kesernyésség amitől újra szomjas lesz az ember.
