Oct 10, 2007 Nose of banana and yeast. Pours a cloudy yellow beer. Highly carbonated. Taste is of yeast, wheat, milk and banana. A short dry finish. Nice.

Oct 8, 2007 Updated: Apr 8, 2009500ml bottle from Aldi. A clean and refreshing hefeweizen. Usual cloudy amber colour, but not too unnatural looking, with a thick creamy white head; aroma of yeast with some banana; more banana in the mouth, not too sweet, quite dry in fact; some cloves to finish.

Oct 4, 2007 One of my favourite styles of beer but not one of my favourite examples. All the citrus, bananas and spices are present and correct but something abvout the way they present themselves I don’t like. Still, a good beer, very refreshing but still being quite full.

Oct 2, 2007 500ml bottle. Unclear, orange body. Lasting white head. Wheaty aroma supported by banana sweetness. More sweet, late banana in flavour offset by hints of green apples and other kinds of tart fruits which ensures it is not too sweet. Wheaty and creamy palate. Average weizen (Trier, 15.09.2007).

Sep 21, 2007 Took me a while to put my finger on the flavour of this beer. Thought I was crazy until I read the reviews on this site stating the banana flavours. I enjoyed this beer very much.

Sep 1, 2007 Draught. Hazy yellow with a huge white head. Wheaty, banana aroma. Flavor is sweetish and fruity with light acidity, and some late bitterness that is unusual for the style. Light to medium body. Nothing interesting, and an OK weizen I guess, but drinking this an hour after drinking a Franziskaner, made this one look quite poor.
