Commercial Description:
Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and poor slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

(0.5 L Bottle) Hazy bronze coloring. Good mouthfeel. Good banana flavoring. Head didn’t last as long as some other Hefeweizeizen beers I have had. I refreshing beer overall.

500ml bottle. Orange/gold hazy colour with thick white head. Really good lemon/banana/bubblegum and a bit of clove. Good in mouth. Lots of refreshment. Cereal is there but compliments the other flavours. Finish has more of the same. Good beer.

Aroma is banana and glove, with maybe some grassy hops also? Taste is similar, quite light.

Bottle. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Heavy teasty and flower aroma. Nice flavor and palate. An OK hefe.

500 mL, thanks IslandHaole! slight haze in the pale gold body. Firm, tight, small bubbled head…clove laced wheat aroma with a bit of orange zest and effervescent bananas. Smooth palate, but there are some off bitter flavours of wet grain malts and spoiled bananas dripping with bland honey. One I could pass on in the future.

Golden amber in color with a creamy white head. Smell is a solid malt. Bitter lasting malt flavor

Elle ressemble beaucoup à une witbier. Bon goût d’agrume, très rafréchissante. Dégusté d’une bouteille de 500 ml.

Bottled. A nice cloudy hefe weisse, with lemon and orange flavours. Good with food, very refreshing.
