Bottle, LCBO summer release. Very attractive hazy yellow appearance with big fluffy white head (it isn’t a five because it looks a little thin). Nice strong yeasty coriander and other spice aroma as well - a great start so far! Taste - a let down. Very watery, thin watery mouthfeel. There is flavour here however, that yeasty wheat taste does come through with lots more coriander and soft lemon. It just gets drowned out in the water, which is a shame because this started so promising. Overall not bad though and I may have again.

Darkish gold. Strong estery nose, citrusy, strong lemon flavors over a biscuity maltiness. Powdery old bread and dry yeast complement it all. Fairly straightforward example.

Couleur dorée aux reflets orange pale, apparence trouble, faible mousse partiellement persistante laissant une fine couche sur le dessus du verre. Notes de citrons et d’épices sous une forte présence de levure. Flaveurs de levure et de banane jaune bonbon, d’une simplicité marquée. La finale ramène une moyenne amertume provenant des levures. Corps d’épaisseur moyenne, texture allant vers crémeuse, carbonatation piquante mais éphémère. Correcte!

Hazy, dark, yeasty, slightly metallic gold with a massive creamy properly lasting white head....initially grainy, lightly sourdough-inflected nose quickly overwhelmed by big banana esters and touches of pepper and melon...body quite refreshing, on the dry side but with subtle fruity notes throughout, touch of metallic/peppery bitterness to finish, but not enough to really damage things...soft, doughy mouthfeel...not perhaps among the top ranks of German hefes, but I would say above average and quite enjoyable.

[bottle from bier halle] pours a hazy yellow colour with a large but collapsing head. aroma has cloves, yeast, and some citrus notes. light spritzy body.

500ml brown bottle, split with gilvanblight. Medium gold shade, hazy. Slight creamy white cap. Lemon/citurs aroma, slight cloves. Flavours of slight bubblegum, lemon and yeast. Wheat note lingers in aftertaste with some yeast.

Bottle from the LCBO- Pours a slightly hazy dark orange body, with a very foamy bleached white head. Aromas are yeasty, some banana, with some herbal aromas as well. Taste is bland, some bananas, a mild yeast flavour. Less flavourful than most hefes I have had. It’s not a bad brew by any standards, just lacking in some areas.

Lemon-citrus character overshadows banana in the aroma. Opaque deep golden body with low white head that diminishes to partial cover. Banana esters are strong in the flavour though doughy yeast notes permeate. Creamy mouthfeel to the medium body with carbonation that is somewhat low for the style.
