Commercial Description:
Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and poor slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

Hazy orange colour, thick white head. Sweet, sugary banana flavour. Typical weissbier, nothing special.

Yeast and wheat aroma. Hazy, pale orange color, creamy head. A strong grapefruit flavor with a quite dry, srtonger bitterness. An unusual, drier Hefeweizen.

Golden, hazy. Tall white head. Yeasty, fresh aroma (banana?). Mild malty sweet flavour, yeast, wheat. A touch of hops in the finish. Oily yet slightly watery palate. Overall mild, uncomplex, well balanced but nothing extraordinary.

Bottle
Cloudy orange, good head buildup. Metallic clove aroma. Dry dusty and metallic flavors - definetely lacks fruit. Also could need a more bready mouthfeel - its a rather thin weissbier. Tut sich im Bauchnabel sicher besser als im Mund....

Creamy and much supporter foam; optimal persistence. Yellow color pale, lightly veiled but little loads. Medium fizz. Ordinary scent but pleasant with notes of wheat and mildew. Spiced. Altogether valid.

Bottle. Cloudy golden with large white head. Banana, cloves, dry finish with high bitterness for a weizen.

Sweet aroma, sourish flavour. A bit too much carbonation but still a very good beer.
