Commercial Description:
Schöfferhofer German Wheat Beer Hefeweizen is brewed in Bavarian tradition using wheat malt. The live yeast gives bottle "conditioning" guaranteeing a refreshing fruity flavor. The yeast sediment also leads to the "cloudy" nature of the beer. Care needs to be taken when pouring. Tilt glass and poor slowly. Before pouring last quarter, roll bottle gently back and forward until sediment is dissolved.

Flaske: Klassisk lysegul uklar hvedeøl med et meget flot skumhoved. Diskret banan i duften, meget afbalanceret i smagen. Superdejlig en varm sommerdag, men ikke så kompleks.

Nice cloudy colour, with a big head. Fruits, banana aromas. And very balanced after tate some bad hefes are too sweet but this is really good balanced hefe. Nice to drink in summer. Good hefeweizen.

Orange/Amber body with a thick white head. First smell was yeast, raspberry, and spice. Second smell was a minimal amount of banana and no clove. Taste had some sweet wheat to it and bubblegum. Not a lot of banana and no clove. Good beer if you’re not a fan of heavy clove.

500ml Bottle - Hazy amber with a white head. Slightly spicy aroma with hints of banana. Slightly musty taste with banana and faint hints of spice. Drinkable and fairly refreshing, but needs for my bite for my liking.

The appearance is deep gold with some hazing and a nice head. The smell is malty and lightly spicy with a touch of floral and bubble gum but hardly enough of it. Not to mention there is no banana. The taste is like the aroma and isn’t bad. It tastes alright but it does not taste like a hefe. The palate is right for the style. Overall it’s quite drinkable but it’s not true to the style.
