Aroma of big earthy hops and a touch of darker malt. Nice earthy bitterness at the forefront of this one. Some brown ale malts lend a semblance of balance, but this one is dominated by a woody, earthy bitterness. Not over the top, but obviously hop forward. Incredibly smooth. I really enjoy the hop profile in their beers, as they all seem to be very similar.
