Bottled. Clear red. Lots grapefruity hops, lots of butterscotch and toffee and lots of cookie malt. Salty and fruity with notes of sugar. The bitterness doesn’t strike very hard. Very solid in all aspects.

A very nice double IPA (or Imperial, how ever you prefer). A very warming, full bodied double IPA. Notes of bourbon, hops (of course)and sweetness come thru in the aroma. Very bitter on the palate, but not so much where it’s unbalanced. Very drinkable, very good. Has an oily, resinous part to it. Good stuff from a damn good brewer.

Draft. Reddish amber beer with a nice off-white head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit flavor with thick malt backings. Pine and some herbal/minty flavor (that’s just not good) along with some chocolate. Creamy, thick mouthfeel.

Very nice full mouthfeel imperial. Very floral somewhat reminiscent of Amarillo and Simcoe. A touch whisky induced mid with some sweet notes. Nice bitter palate with good resinous oily aspect.
