Draft at the brewpub. Vanilla aroma. Slight cherry color (like pale cooked cherry). Flavor is mixed. Kind of cherry vanilla soda.

On tap @ Schooners poured a clear amber with a lasting creamy white head with good lacing. Aromas of cherry, vanilla, marshmallow creme and a hint of carmel. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of vanilla, marshmallow, light cherry and light carmel with a smooth sweet finish.

This is so far my least favorite Schooner’s beer. I have a major sweet tooth, but this was too much for me. Pours a pale fizzy gold with a thin white head. The nose is vanilla, vanilla and a bit more vanilla. The flavor is more vanilla, with a hint of sherry and a subtle coconut like finish. I’m not sure this was a beer, but more a soft drink. I could see drinking this out on a boat in hot weather and some salty chips.

On tap @ Schooners. Clear yellow color, slight reddish hue, short-lived white head. Sweet powdered sugar/vanilla aroma, vaguely artificial smelling. Maraschino cherry taste, light vanilla presence, too sweet for my tastes.

Bright, light amber beer w/ a delicate white head which reduces quickly leaving nice lacing. Bread crust, sour cherry and vanilla in the nose, the sour cherry and vanilla flavors follow through. Mouth feel is creamy up front finishing crisp and refreshing. Sour cherry and malt linger afterwards.

Draft. Amber beer with a reddish tint and a white head. Light maltys, cherry aroma. Bad cherry flavor with a blonde ale underneath that shows some ale characteristics. Medium body. LIngering cherry, malt. Gets better after a while, but that wasn’t saying much.
