| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 2, 2007 I loved that this ’IPA’ was less hoppy than some pale ales. Despite my love for hops, the taset was very well balanced. You know it’s an IPA, but the hops are so integrated with the malts that the citrusy hops and sweet malts blend well during the initial taste, followed by a more bitter yet still pleasant finish. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2006 Poured a hazy orange color with a thin off-white head. Hop foward aroma with notes of citrus and orange. Sweet malty notes underneath. Orange and caramel malt make up most of the flavor. Nice hoppy middle with a fair amount of bitterness in the finish. ratman197 (3242), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Aromas of carmel, citrus and light pine. Palate was light bodied and dry. Flavors of sweet carmel, orange and a hint of lemon with a crisp bitter finish. GG (1648), NorCal, California, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 6, 2006 Updated: Dec 16, 2006Had this on tap from the brewery, so it was nice and fresh. Somewhat dark in color and it has the huge Amarillo hoppiness aroma to it that is very nice. Big pine notes with sweet caramel malt backing balances it out nicely. I really enjoyed this. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 30, 2005 On draft @ the brewpub. Cask Conditioned. Darker in color with a white head. BIG Amarillo hop aroma. Very good bitterness with a great malt backbone. An outstanding IPA IMO. I don’t know if this is the same IPA as the one most people have rated here. If it is, it sounds like they may have changed the recipe some. bb (2930), Martinez, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 17, 2005 Draft. Medium golden beer with little head. Fruity hop aroma. Citrus and pine resin flavors with some grassiness and malt backing. It’s not going to displease IPA drinkers, but it doesn’t stand out. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA
