This mighty Ale has a medium maltness and body with an assertive hop flavor and aroma. It's dry-hopped for an incredible floral and citrus hop bouquet that contributes sweet notes to the final product. Over two pounds of hops per barrel goes into every batch.

(Growler) Courtesy of aspidites. Clear, amber golden with a dense, off-white head leaving laces. Discreet, citrusy aroma. Medium body, a bit low in carbonation, with a discreet malt sweetness. Dry and fairly hoppy finish. This needs a bit of sophistication to be truly great. 290307

Sampled from a bottle in Nov. 2006: Pours a slightly hazy golden bronze with a thin covering of wispy white head. Has a fresh piny hoppy aroma with semi-sweet caramel malty notes. Body starts with pale malty sweetness, some citric orange fruity notes and balance of flavoring hops. A nice IPA.

Bottle: Copper caramel color, light white head and tons of sticky lacing. The nose is bright and grassy, some wood (pine) and grapefruit; earthy hops along with the lovely pale malts. The flavor is cobbwebby and sticky, nice wood and caramel. California style for sure with that bright robust dry hop in the nose and sweet simple body. Very sticky long tail with a candy note at the end. Excellent.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a pale golden color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy aroma with some hints of citrus. Slightly swetish malty bitter hoppy citrus flavor with some piney hints. Has a long hoppy bitter citrus finish with a bitter aftertaste.

Draft at the brewpub. Amber color. Nice citrus aroma. Flavor seems more a mix of citrus & pine. Just excellent.

Poured a hazy orange color with a thin off-white head. Hop foward aroma with notes of citrus and orange. Sweet malty notes underneath. Orange and caramel malt make up most of the flavor. Nice hoppy middle with a fair amount of bitterness in the finish.

Light gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is very floral and slightly fruity. A light to medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and slightly nutty and a touch sweet. Hops are kind of mild, and a touch citrusy. Tastes more like a pale ale than an IPA. Crisp and clean. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
