| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 22, 2007 Bottle… Hazy rose-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is sweet and fruity with moderate funk. Mild fruity sweetness on the palate, alongside medium pungency and light, stale hop earthiness. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and restrained carbonation. Tart, bone-dry finish. The high ABV is expertly hidden. A shout goes out to IBrew2or3 for sharing his bottle with the Tampa crew! | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jan 13, 2008 Bottle courtesy of stoutlover72. Pours mahogany red with a trace of white bubbles. Smell yields a nice tarte funky backbone. Some earthy touches and hints of caramel is also there. Some rosy character emerges as the beer warms. Tastes lip puckeringly tart with a very nice oaky cherry character. Hard to believe this is anywhere near 15% ABV. If it is, the brewer did an amazing job as there’s no warming alcohol present. Very nice lambic qualities emerge as the beer warms. Wish I had more. ¾ (5003), Colorado, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 6, 2008 Soft, woody cream nose – tart, lightly acidic, candied. Flavor is fruity and soft, medium tartness, but thick and full on the palate… cherries, sweetened red wine, lactic acid, and raspberries (even more so than the cherry note, which is strange)… stemmy, raw, raspberries. Quite good. beerguy101 (3960), Newark, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 30, 2007 This ‘fruit’ beer pours a pink color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized pinkish white foamy head. Aroma is funk, barnyard, horse blanket, cherries, malt and fruit. A medium to full-bodied fruit beer. Touch of cherries, touch of caramel and toffee. Lots of funk and horse blanket. It a lambic, no it’s a barleywine. No it both and neither, Interesting and complex. The 15% alcohol is not visible in all this funk. I like it. I need the FUNK… Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is funky and tart. WeeHeavySD (3041), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Once again from memory. Courtesy of the ever generous Mike. Thanks man! Liquid cherry pie. This one had a nice light red color with some floaties. Aroma of tart cherries, a touch of funk. Tasted like tart cherry pie. Not overly funky, but just enough to make this one extremely enjoyable and interesting. Had no clue it was 15%
