Strong sour aroma similar to cherries with a dusty chocolate aroma underneath. Very tart up front tempered by the extreme creaminess of the beer. High abv is completely hidden in this beer. Wow, this is excellent. Right up my alley.

Aroma of vinegar, easter egg coloring, fruit, brown sugar, and light cocoa. Flavor of vinegard, fruit, brown sugar, alcohol. Better than expected, but I am not sure it is a stout. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 31, 2008 Tap: Dark, dark brown with a fuzzy brown head. It has a tart cherry aroma with a tangy cherry flavor, In fact, you mainly taste fruit. It has an old fashioned cherry pie aftertaste and a little too much tang because it kind of burns your throat about half way through. But still, a very tasty and drinkable brew. ratman197 (3266), Arvada, Colorado, USA
