En bouche elle est un peu ronde. On goûte les pommes rouges, le caramel et le citron. JChapmanMTL (15), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Nov 12, 2007 341mL bottle. Murky dark orange/brown colour. Small white head. Very smooth, oily. Surprisingly there’s not really any hint of the alcohol. Flavour has a nice bitterness to it, but doesn’t last long enough. Surprisingly easy to drink, though not the most interesting. rodenbach99 (428), Longueuil, Quebec, Canada Oct 20, 2007 Updated: Aug 21, 2008bouteille, bière agréable à l’oeil comme au goût. un peu de caramel, belle amertume, équilibre parfait, sans reproche et sans distinction GRM (867), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Sep 26, 2007 Draught, at the Fête fromages et bières; eye: amber brown, lightly opaque, tiny white head; nose: my mother’s chocolate pudding; mouth: bitterness, a bit of chocolate pudding, does not really take off, light to medium body, oily texture, goes down well

Fût, Fête fromages et bières; oeil : brun ambré, légèrement opaque, petite mousse blanche; nez : pouding au chocolat de ma mère; bouche : amertume, un peu de pouding au chocolat, ne décolle pas vraiment, corps léger à moyen, texture huileuse, coule bien Juhani (4), Montreal, Quebec, USA does not count Aug 8, 2007 This is a very red red beer. This is the brightest orange I’ve seen in any beer. When I pour in the sediment, it turns totally opaque and yellow ochre. Large chunks of gray dead yeast settle at the bottom. The nose is pleasing with a hint of lambic funkiness (since this is NOT supposed to be a spontaneous fermentation beer, however, that does not bode well). The flavor reminds of me of some of the really bad beers by Breughel I’ve had. It’s bitter and strange... muddy. Mud, clay, and vinegar. Lemon peel? Awful. Label says it won a bronze medal at the Chicago World Beer Championships, but it’s easily one of the five worst Quebec beers I’ve tasted.
