Bottled 50cl. It pours a clear pale golden beer with a tall, creamy, nicely remaining lacing white head- beautiful appearance. Good hop profile in the aroma where hints of lime, lemongrass and vanilla emerge. Crisp taste with hints of gooseberries and lemongrass. Nice bitterness. Subtle carbonation. White bread and faint lime showing up. Slightly yeasty. Deeply pleasant long dry finish which is reminiscent of lemongrass. A top notch Kölsch. I really liked this one.

Sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. A clear, yellow golden body, covered by a layer of offwhite bubbles. Aroma is crisp grainy, has yellow fruit notes, and some noticable grassy hops. Taste is clean grainy, with a fresh lemony fruitiness. Light in body, whitout being thin. Crisp, hoppy finish. A likeable Kölsch, high drinkability.

500 ml bottle. Pours light golden with a small white head. Weak sweet malty aroma. Taste is almost, but only almost on the sweet side, but there’s enough hop to balance it quite well and make it dry at the end.

500 ml bottle. as Schreckenskammer Wirtz, 4.8% ABV, at RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg, thanks to Gunnar. Golden colour, low head. Grainy, herbal and slightly spicy aroma. Fairly well balanced pilsener-like flavour, easy drinking, with a slight fruitiness and herbal hints, acceptable hoppy bitterness.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of cardboard, malt, and some malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of cardboard, caramel, metal, and malt, leading to a dry metallic finish. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing.
