bobinlondon (830), Harrow, Greater London, England Jul 30, 2009 Gravity from the wood at brewey tap. Dark gold with an off white head. At first a little sweet, but after a glass or two the hops come through in force and its not difficult to see why the whole town seems to decend on the pub to drink this nectar on the 3 days of the year that it replaces the standard house ale. Well worth targeting. Be prepared to josstle for service. joss (3645), Garching b. München, Germany Apr 1, 2009 Fresh bottle, big thanks to pivnizub! Spicy nose - heather, honey, aromatic citric and herbal hops. Hazy red golden, lacing golden head. Dry hoppy entry, berry notes, honey, grain, spicy honey notes retronasal. Medium body, sparkly mouthfeel.
Dry grassy aftertaste. Awesome! Quack-Duck (3166), Bodensee/Schwarzwald, Germany Mar 29, 2009 1l-bottle, kindly delivered by pivnizub - díky, díky, díky! Clear amber colour, lovely beige head. Hoppy-caramelly nose. Full-bodied, solid malty bas with lovely biter hoppy flavours and a herbal touch. Hints of caramel, roasted malts and toffee. A delicious beer! kappldav123 (1815), Markkleeberg, Germany Dec 16, 2008 The bottle looks not really good, but the beer in the glass is incredible. Copper-coloured, fine creamy head. Starts strong and dry, prickly-malty. Finish is a bit weeker, notes are not as intense as before. Good beer. MiP (9015), Sønderborg, Denmark Oct 30, 2008 Bottle, 5.5% at LCRBM08. Caramelly aroma.
