Commercial Description:

Bügelverschlußflasche: Light amber coloured, a bit unclear, lazy carbonation; moderate hoppy-roasty nose with a nutty touch; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; fruity-nutty traces in the drier malty-hoppy finish. Chapeau, a well crafted Festbier..........

(swing top bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet mildly toasted (cara-)malty aroma with notes of peanuts and shy herbal hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium body impression (completely fermented/hochvergoren) with a moderate carbonation. Minimal toasty cara-malty and slightly nutty taste with a mildly bitter and slightly herbal and spicy hoppy finish. Could have had more body, otherwise a decent brew. 21.XI.09

Bottle, 5.6%. Clear orange colour. Very small white head. The flavour is nicely malty with a bit of fruit, orange, but not citric. Medium bitterness, clean enough.
