Apr 27, 2006 400ml from tap at Bistro Terrass on the Schlossplatz in Stuttgart (outdoor seating). Nice golden colour. Medium foam. Light malty aroma. Flavour with a few hints of malty sweetness. A bit buttery impression. Refreshing on a warm day (21.04.2006).

Oct 20, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Usually an Urtyp is a rather hoppy pilsener whereas an Export is a maltier, milder and rounder lager style. Here - at least on the label - the two are combined and clearly the latter term seems to win. Golden beer with a nice head and a lovely, full body. Marked sweetness and an almost absent bitterness. Good and rather typical Helles. 300902
