Bottle. Dark golden colour. Unstable, rocky head. Malty flavour, alcohol slightly noticeable. Low bitterness. A good, honest Märzen.

Very soft apricot aroma. Bitter flavor: some hops and a hint of apricot. Just a bit alcoholic. Malty, nutty and dusty. Slightly disappointing.

(swing top bottle) Amber coloured with a medium sticky white head. Malty nose with hints of straw and nuts. The taste is initially malty with a slight sweet touch of caramel. Medium body, creamy texture with a light bitter hoppy finish. This one is quite good but also not world shaking.

Bottled. Good, decent märzen. A bit like a fuller helles, but not that typical oktoberfestbier strength.

Enjoyed at a Marine’s house in a remote village west of Stuttgart. Pours a nice copper brown, and the flavor is full of life and a delicate balance of spice and bitterness.

Golden colour, fluffy off-white head; sweet malty (bready) nose with a tinge of hops; nutty malty flavour with a bitter-sweet aftertaste; medium bodied, quite well rounded. Not bad, especially when You compare it to the average beers of south-western Germany......

Bottled. Amber colour. Not much of aroma, slight malt is present. Dry-ish malt profile with notes of honey and caramel. No bitterness. Light bodied.
