Has tasty cream, and a neat smell. The aftertaste isn’t quite strong as expected, which might be good if you dislike having the taste of beer long after the drinking.
Overall: nothing special, yet another good dark beer. HenrikSoegaard (4400), Randers, Denmark

Very dark brown, essentially black pour that’s ruby under light. Meager little brown head, too-heavily carbonated. Roasted malt and caramel aroma. Tasty! Heavily roasted, nutty taste with some hoppy bitterness. Very hoppy for a dark beer. That roasty flavor is intense, there’s a little bit of grass from the hops. Typical Schwarzbier ash / slag is thankfully absent. Finishes dry and slightly harsh. Temporarily numbed the fore-center of my tongue. Love the guy pictured on the label, he sure looks like he knows he Schwarzbier. By no means complex (see the velvety Köstritzer), nonetheless a credit to its style. I like bitterness, so it was ok for me, but the brew seems abit unbalanced, ok, but was expecting better.
