The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Fine foam. The beer is not as fruity as other hefeweizens, more dry. The finish is malty-dry, a little bit boring. Nevertheless a drinkable hefeweizen.

Golden, hazy with a nice head. The aroma has earthy notes of wheat and some fruit. The flavour is a bit edgy with a sharp acidic note in the beginning of the flavour, but then it gives room for banana and wheat and the finish is round and smooth. OK, but a bit on the thin side.

Bottle, bought @ Riepen, Harrislee. Pours a little hazy pale yellow-orange. A small creamy white head settles nicely, super lacing. Aroma has lots of banana and a wheaty background. Medium mouthfeel. Flavour is a bit filled with off flavours... some sort of grainy cardboard. There is the usual hefe flavours, banana, yeast and wheat. Not too fantastic.

Bottle: Dull golden, cloudy, large frothy white head, spotty lacing, moderate carbonation.   Wheaty nose, slight banana & clove.   Moderate flavors of wheat, banana, & clove.   Not heavy like other examples.   Pleasant.   Bready finish.   Lighter bodied than others, but still quite enjoyable.   Likely easier to fill up on these than say Paulaner.   Thanks for sharing danem!

[Bottle from Alexander, Bonn]. Typical mainstream german hefe weizen with good unfiltered look, banana yeast and taste. Lacks a little in body.
