mcdav2154 (289), Germany Jul 26, 2009 Clear golden body with a very small white head after an aggressive pour. Smells very sweet with hints of chlorine. I was excited to try this one but now I’m not so sure. First taste was too sweet for my liking and has no bitter hop bite. Reminds me off nutrisweet and really has no character. Second sip was the same. Very disappointed. I won’t finish this one. Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 20, 2009 Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Clean malty nose. Quite full-bodied with a solid, sweet and clean malt base. Very discreet bitterness. 030409 pivnizub (4947), Bochum, Porúří, Germany Jun 20, 2009 Bügelverschlußflasche (Danke, Nonnenhorn!): Deep golden, lazy carbonation, medium-sized beaten egg-white-like foam; fruity-grainy nose with a light hoppy background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, quite light bodied; lemony finish with alcohol and bittering hops. Drinkable, but not so great.......... MoritzF (4856), Bochum, Germany Jun 3, 2009 (swing top bottle) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Dusty, slightly sweet malty with a touch of sulphur hiding the shy whiff of herbal hops far in the background. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a moderate, almost crispy carbonation. Slightly bready malty taste with a touch of biscuits and herbal elements; almost dry-ish malt-accented, slightly hoppy finish with traces of alcohol detectable (03.VI.09). fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark May 20, 2009 Bottle 50cl. w. swing top. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, sugar, light hoppy, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090403] delnoche (210), Germany May 6, 2009 Updated: May 12, 200950cl bottle poured into a pint glass. Pale golden color with three fingers of white head. Smells like citrus and hops. Tastes hoppy bitter with very little malt. At first I thought it was too bitter, but after a few sips it is rather enjoyable. Smooth in the mouth with very little carbonation. Aftertaste is a bit bitter though, reminiscent of pilsners. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Apr 15, 2009 Bottle, 6.9%. Weak marcipan aroma. Clear golden colour. Almost no head. The flavour is a little citric, and there is a hint of marcipan. Not the fat kind, but still slightly disturbing. OK, but not so interesting. yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 3, 2009 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fully diminished white head. Mild grassy aroma. Mild sweetness and light fruity note. Sweet and slight bitter flavoured finish.
