Much like the pils I remember from central Germany ... very light malt with a sharp bitter edge. Good very cold with salty food. johndoughty (2159), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 12, 2006 Flip-top bottle - Aroma was standard, with a slight grainyness to it. Appearance was nice and clear. Mouthfeel was clean and full. Flavor was a refreshing, albeit I could taste a slight bit of cardboard. It was also hopped a bit which made it very drinkable. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 3, 2006 This reminded me of Lowenbrau pils, it had a clean gold colour with a thickish white head. A slightly sweet maltiness came across on the nose and palate, followed by a clean fruity hop character. The fairly low carbonation made for a smooth mouthful, a well balanced, clean and refreshing brew, a good quality pils. Liitle Germany,Grangemouth. dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany
