Schwaben Bräu Pilsner

Bottle, Lidl. clear golden color, thick head. sweet, fruity aroma. Quite crisp and hoppy flavor. OK pilsener.

Clear, pale yellow coloured beer. Thin head is white and a bit creamy. OK lacing. Aroma is grassy, somewhat malty and slightly metallic. Buttery malts and dryish, hoppy finish. Flavor is dryish malty and in the finish medium bitter. Medium bodied, quite smooth mouthfeel.

Bottled, Lidl, 4.7%. Pale yellow, with a thick completely white head. Aroma quite fruity, some hay and grass. The taste is not that fulfilling, but the finish is balanced and fruity.

Pours a nice light golden yellow. Aromas of hops, grass, and maybe malt. Taste is crisp with a nice mellow hop flavor.

(4.6 %) Pale golden with foamy white head. Grassy hops, malts and light honey on the nose. Flavor is strong hayish hops and lightly honeyish malts. Moderately bitter and dry finish. Light bodied, average carbonation. Light but quite nicely hopped pils.

Pale yellow color and scant, a little soapy, white head. Aroma is much sweet caramel malty, slightly buttery. Aroma is malty, and somewhat hoppy. A bit metallic also. Medium-bodied and low carbonated palate.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Very much foam, but fast collapsing. Flavor modest hoppy, not really dry, modest malty. Not bad!

Bottle, Lidl. Pale gold with white halo. Soapy tin snout and slippery mouth. Bread, metal, cardboard malt graininess. Lingeringly bitter. Superior crappy pils so grainy it almost tastes like an n/a beer.
