I went to Lidl on the lookout for obscure German beers, and I found three. There was this, a cheapo one in cans and a third only in six packs which I couldn’t bring myself to purchase. This was a pale, soft pils with a bit of crisp hop and grassy/lawn character. There’s nothing great about it, but it’s quite drinkable. fatty (363), Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, USA

Sweet grassy aroma that blends with malt. Flavor is sweet, malty and light citrus. Smooth body. Pretty solid for a pilsner. Papsoe (15109), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 18, 2005 Bottle, 33cl. Pale yellow colour, almost no head. Nicely carbonated. Very sweet aroma with hints of hops. Flavour isn’t as sweet as the aroma. in fact, it’s bitter with a dry finish. A very good beer if considering it only costed 0.40€ ! weepingsuds (222), Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA
