Bottle from Lidl. I went to Lidl on the lookout for obscure German beers, and I found three. There was this, a cheapo one in cans and a third only in six packs which I couldn’t bring myself to purchase. This was a pale, soft pils with a bit of crisp hop and grassy/lawn character. There’s nothing great about it, but it’s quite drinkable.

Pale carbonated yellow body with thick white bubbly head. Sweet grassy aroma that blends with malt. Flavor is sweet, malty and light citrus. Smooth body. Pretty solid for a pilsner.

(Bottle 50 cl) Neat pilsener golden with a small, handsome head. Quite soft with a good, malty sweetness and a very discreet bitterness. A nice and pleasant pilsener. 201202

Bottle, 33cl. Pale yellow colour, almost no head. Nicely carbonated. Very sweet aroma with hints of hops. Flavour isn’t as sweet as the aroma. in fact, it’s bitter with a dry finish. A very good beer if considering it only costed 0.40€ !

Bottle/Schwaben Brau Mug. Very pale translucent yellow with little head. Lots of lively carbonation, but not overly so, Taste is light and hoppy, smooth with a slight bitter aftertaste.

Pale yellow, no head. Aroma strong rye with a bit burnt sweetish note. Strong rye taste with bitter finish and aftertaste. Aftertaste could be a bit longer, otherwise pretty nice beer.

Compact and enough creamy foam. Much limpid and shining one with one good fizzy. Delicate and moved aroma. Fresh and refreshing taste. One optimal Pils.

Bottle. Light grassy malt aroma. Medium yellow color with small head. Moderate malt flavor that reaches its peak towards the end - mild sweetness and hops. Okay but definitely nothing special.
