Bottle 50cl. w. swing top.
Clear light yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, toasted, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate butter - plastic bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090403]

50cl bottle poured into a mug. Pours a nice golden color with ample frothy white head. Smells like apples. A balanced taste that has some fruit notes. Hops in the finish. Pretty smooth. Better than other pilseners offered by Schwaben Bräu.

Bottle, 5.5%. Weak buttery aroma, spicy, but buttery nonetheless. Almost clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour also has a little butter, perhaps some plastic.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts strong and malty, modest spicy, grasy-metallically finish. Good Weihnachtsbier!

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Light grassy and malt aroma. Subdued malt sweetness and a light bitterness in the initial flavour impression. Light acidic and bitter touch. Dry bitter finish with a light malt base, yet enought to counterbalance the bitterness.

bottle. Clear deep golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, intensively malty with a strange fruity touch I disliked a bit. Shy but pleasant hops present.

Bottle from utobeer at home. Aroma is sweet pale lager malt and honey, herbal german hop. Taste is similar, on the sweet side and perhaops a bit unclean. But still drinkable enough.

Had this with oldrtybastrd. This pours clear yellow with an average white head but it is gone quick. The beer is crisp and refreshing but not a lot of taste like most German winter beers.
