Draught at Australian Beer Festival, Sydney. Very pale straw body, big white foam. Interesting aroma; hop citrus, grainy wheaty sort of malts, hints of peppery esters. Lively carbonation, quite lean bodied yet quenching. Plenty of lemon citrus on the body, with a bit of sourness that somehow grows on me. Finish is quite bitter, slightly metallic/spicy phenolic lingering note. Odd beast, quite refreshing on a hot day (as it was on the day). Not bad really.

Tried at the Macquarie Hotel. Pale yellow body, light hop taste, buttery, boring, reminded me of a coopers pale ale. Still it went down better than the Cardinal Sin.
