| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 8, 2007 A dark clear copper ale with an extra thick light moka head. A light roasted aroma, like dark roasted malt, and light nutty notes. In mouth, a lightly oxidized malt, a bit nutty and roasted grains, a bit too thin for me, but overall enjoyable. 500 ml swing cap. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 1, 2007 Bottle: Dark copper body with thick white head. Aroma is malty sweet, with strong alcohol fruityness (grape). Little to no hops noted in aroma. The beer was kinda bland at first, with some restrained maltyness. Hints of grapes and shreaded wheat appear. Hops appear at end, to balence out the beer adiquately. I noted lingering tartness in the finish. I really had hopes for this one, but just didn’t do it for me...
