Feb 26, 2007 Bottle. Clear medium brown color with a average fizzy fair lacing off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark bread, roasted, molasses, caramel. Initaial flavor is moderate sweet, finish flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finsh feel is light metalic.

Feb 24, 2007 Bottle. Pours a beautiful clear mahogany with a small brown fluffy head. The appearance is definitely the highlight of this brew. Toasted (burnt) malt nose. Flavor is the same with some hop bitterness that comes through at the end. Metallic taste is present too. Easy on the eye and easy to consume.

Feb 21, 2007 Poured a clear brown with ruby highlights and a small short lasting head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma of sweet and nutty malt with almost no hop presence. Taste is nutty and slightly sweet with good bitterness. A very easy drinking beer

Feb 8, 2007 A dark clear copper ale with an extra thick light moka head. A light roasted aroma, like dark roasted malt, and light nutty notes. In mouth, a lightly oxidized malt, a bit nutty and roasted grains, a bit too thin for me, but overall enjoyable. 500 ml swing cap. Bought at BOTW, 4-pack for 6.99$, Oct. 2006.

Feb 4, 2007 Swing top bottle poured a clear dark copper brown with a small diminishing amber head. Aromas of dark bread, fruitiness and a hint of molasses. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, lightly fruity and a hint of molasses with a crisp dry bittersweet finish.

Feb 1, 2007 Bottle: Dark copper body with thick white head. Aroma is malty sweet, with strong alcohol fruityness (grape). Little to no hops noted in aroma. The beer was kinda bland at first, with some restrained maltyness. Hints of grapes and shreaded wheat appear. Hops appear at end, to balence out the beer adiquately. I noted lingering tartness in the finish. I really had hopes for this one, but just didn’t do it for me...
