Poured a dark copper with a medium tan head. Lots of caramel and bread in the aroma. Flavor was dense with caramel and malt, with a bitter end. No hops, mostly sour apple. Some fruitiness, with a heavier than expected mouthfeel. Its okay, but not worth doing again.

Light brown and a short white, thin head. Very light all around, with malt in the aroma and medium sweet malt in the flavor. Fairly thin. Pleasant but expensive for a session beer.

Excellent malty nose, dark auburn pour topped with a slight off-white head, and, as goldtwins suggested, a hint of cola in the aroma. Tart and earthy, but a bit thin bodied. Balanced and midly carbonated with a short tart finish receding into a sweet brown sugar aftertaste. OK, but needs more body.

(bottle - 33 cl) Dark brown pour with a thick and puffy tan head. Aroma is very malty and nutty with some hints of caramel at the end. Taste is very sweet and loaded with roasted and toasted sweet malts, caramel, and toffee. The finish is bitter and watery with a slight metallic hint to it.

Deep, dark red with a huge light brown head. I don’t think its supposed to be this dark. Malty, chocolatey nose. Bitter but no hop flavor. Raisin, chocolate, plum flavors. Very smooth but a bit thin. A well made alt.

Poured a clear very deep copper-brown color with a thin off-white. Malty and pretty sweet aroma. With notes of cola, raisins and plums. Malty flavor with light fruit. Lightly acidic. Semi-dry finish. Thin body with a light bitterness on the finish.

Crisp deep amber body, medium white head. Fruit aroma, cranberries, cherries, maybe some sour apple. A warm body, but very dry in the mouth. Hops are very present, light caramel accents. A bread-like ending. A decient beer, but there are better.

Celar deep amber, rather nice light tan head, although it collapses fairly quickly. Invinting caramel and lightly floral aroma. LIght to medium body with lively carbonation. Roasted malt flavors of toffee, brwon suger, etc. provide the sweetness, and some peppery and light citrus hops offset the malt, although a slight sweetness still comes through in the finish.
