Clear medium amber color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081025]

Bottle from a trade with bierkoning. Thanks Edo! Pretty appearance of clear deep amber color and a big beige head. Aroma of malt, toasted bread, lots of caramel, some light fruitiness and light nutty notes. Sweet flavor of bread , malt, some caramelly sugariness and assertive herbal hops with light grass notes in a long lasting aftertaste. A very hoppy Bock. Overall a tasty well-made Bock.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a slowly diminishing white head. Roasted malty and spiced aroma. Smooth malty and roasted carame flavoured. Light dryness and mild bitterness into the finish. Nice breadish lasting finish.

A clear amber colored beer, with a thick beige head. The aroma of caramel malt, a little chocolate with coffee candies. The taste of dark caramel, sweet, bitter and some dark cherries. A little spicey. The aftertaste is long bitter but smooth.

Bottle, 6.5% at LCRBM08. Malty aroma and flavour. The flavour is also quite malty, nicely peppery, warming.

bottle - amber red beer with white head. Sweet malt aroma. Flavour is malty sweetness with a strong alcoholic touch, but not what you would expect of a 6.5% beer.

[bottle--thanks pivnizub!] Grainy aroma, but not overly, with sweet melanoidiny malt that is not spicy and has only barely perceptible hops. Clear orange-brown with quickly dropping, white cover. The flavour is actually quite gentle for this style, with grainy and slightly caramelly malt and plenty of hops flavour that nicely blends into the malt flavour, ending with a refreshing bitterness that combines with a medium carbonation, to really pacify this 6.5% brew. Perhaps some nutty notes. Medium body, slightly bitter finish.
