Pours a nice copper/gold colour with a big, quickly diminishing head that exibited some lacing. Decent amount of malts and noble hops in the aroma. Flavour is quite clean with smooth malts (including some funkier grain flavours in the background) and a good hop balance. Finish is quite dry. All up a pretty good sessional beer. dreamboat (186), Brisbane, Australia

Similarly dry flavour without much sweetness to balance it out. Quite dissappointing as it came in a very nice swing-top 500ml bottle and certainly looked the part! bierkoning (6084), La Tropica, Netherlands

Malty hoppy flavor, medium bodied. Very fresh and slightly herbal. This lovely beer was provided by MoritzF. voota (765), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 28, 2006 Bottle opened with a lively bang, and foamed a little out the top. Pours a creamy white head on a golden body. Plenty of vienna malt in the nose, and some caramel. Barely any hops in the aroma. The flavour is refreshing and clean, and quite weak. Plenty of munich and vienna malts. Overall, fairly smooth but nothing outstanding. shrubber85 (2943), Wallhalben, Germany
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jan 27, 2006 Bottle. Metallic corn syrup malt aroma. Clear copper color with large quick collapsing head. Sickly sweet barley flavor. A bit cloying and bad taste. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 25, 2006 Clear honey gold colored body. Very sweet nose full of honey, caramel malt, munich malt, and some light grains. Almost smells like braggot. Light texture, very thin and sweet with emphasis just on plain old grains and toast. Up against Bob’s 47 Lager this one loses by a wide margin. bluevegie (2215), Perth, Australia
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 23, 2006 Orangey golden body with red tinges and an average white head. Head retention was poor. Aroma was of caramel, brown sugar and pine. Some harsh spice in the taste, a bit thin and a touch of sourness, grapefruit as well as butter and oil. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 18, 2006 Light amber colored body with a slightly off white head. The aroma is sweet potatoes with dust and hay. Interesting smell. The taste has some light peanut brittle with a little bit of bread crust. There is also some light spice of some subtle black pepper, but it is very faint and in the finish. This is one of the best Viennas I have tried.
