500 ml bottle purchased at Edelweiss in Portland, OR--Poured a medium-to-pale amber body with a pillowy whitish head. Lots of bubbles rising in glass. Bready, nutty, caramel nose. Creamy, semi-sweet, cereal flavor. Finished a tad dull and flavorless. Highly drinkable.

Aroma: Grainy malts, a bit of lemony zest, probably from the hops, a long drizzle of honey and just a drop of coffee. Appearance: Topaz-peach, clear and satiny body with a sudsy off-ivory head. Big bubbles, poor retention, and no lacing, but what a pretty color. Flavor: Tasty, well-balanced, and smooth. The sweetness from the malts does not overwhelm the palate. Slightly nutty. Undercurrents of toasty banana bread, punctuated by a minor uprising of citric hops. Vague diacetyl character as well. Palate: Smooth and creamy, but with little, sharp, tingly bubbles. Surprisingly full-bodied but still light on the tongue. Overall: This beer is a no-brainer; nothing out-of-the-ordinary going on, but quite delicious and easy to drink.

Light golden amber pour with medium head. Bottle seemed a bit aged. Definite notes of honey and toffee. Malt present... butterscotch/biscuity, for sure. Never had a Vienna before. Not bad.

Gekocht bij Trinkgut Holzminden € 0,65 0,5 L beugelfles. Heerlijk bier met heel veel smaak. Ik moest denken aan een lekkere lentebok.

Nice German beer, kinda sweetish taste, not too gassy, fresh and smooth drinker, good with dinner or on its own. Nice find!

A great Vienna, picked up in Batavia. Creamy head with dark chocolate and maltiness, and in the mouthfeel. Smooth rinker, though on the chocolate milk feeling.
