Fizzy copper pour that still can’t manage to work up a head - weak aroma of bread and honey - slightly herbal/grassy hop profile, with light touches of grain and bread - subtle floral qualities near the end - pretty bland and lacking depth - disappointing after the pils.

This was a great dark beer. It had an interesting initial taste but the darkness held and gave it a great ending flavor

Copper/orange with huge rocky head, fades to thick film. Great lacing. Caramel and toasted bread up front, along with some faint citrus and grass. Flavor has a bigger toasted, bready grain charater, caramel is faint. Some hop bite near the finish, herbal, earthy, grassy and faint zest. Very clean. Surprised at the overall on this. Wasn’t great, but highly sessionable and probably a nice crossover.

Bottle at Old Chicago - Okemos, MI. Poured clear amber color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate sweet malty aroma. Medium body. Medium sweet flavor with a small bitter finish of short duration. Drinkable smooth brew.

Not exactly the best beer for this style. The taste of cereal and grassy hops. Its malt seem to be off. slight buttery taste with the rest of flavor.

Bottled - Luton BF. A copper coloured beer verging on old gold with little head. The aroma has buttery malts together with alcohol and fruit. The taste is malty and strong. Chewy and tasty.
