A clear orange beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is weird hoppy. The flavor is of caramel with a dry hoppy end.

(Bottle 50 cl) "Bernstein" means "amber", and this obviously refers to the color, which is a beautiful, deep orange -and very clear. Creamy, almost sticky, head. Soft and malty, almost sweet and with just a discrete bitterness. Delicious and very pleasant beer brewed on barley malt and special malts (for the color). 280503

50 cL bottle, courtesy of MiP. Pours clear and golden orange with a white head. Sweet caramel and pilsner malt aroma, light hops presence. Flavour is smooth roasted malt with a light bitterness appearing into the finish. Light breadish touch into the finish alongside a nice fruity hops flavour.

Bottle, 4.8%. The aroma has a slight sourness which is quite good. Amber colour, small white head. The flavour is quite malty and also has some sourness, but it suits the beer well.

Clear amber with a large off white head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and hoppy notes. Flavour was malty with caramel and grassy hops. Finished dry and quite bitter.

(500ml bottle, best before end (88 10 54(?)) Crystal clear amber body with healthy off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, orange, bread, light spice. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, bread, floral/orange, faint grassy. Watery fairly bland finish. Watery light-medium body with light stickiness, a bit thin.
