Schwelmer Dunkler Bock

thanks to moritz f. for this beer. copper coloured with mid-solid, brownish head. starts with roasted malts, hopsy and with aroma of coffee. hopsy mid and end with aromes of roasted malt and coffee.

bottle, received from MoritzF - thank you! Dark, oily consistence, small head. Flavours of malt and roasted malt, herbs and hops. Dry and hoppy finish.

Clear deep amber colour with a small off white head. Malty, caramel sweet aroma with vague hints of bread and alcohol. Malty, caramel sweet flavor with notes of fruit and alcohol.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear, dark, amber golden with a beige head. Fruity, sweetish caramel aroma. Quite full-bodied with sweetish, burned caramel and roasted malt. The bitterness is subdued. Nice indeed. 230407

Bottle. Clear orange coloured with an off white head. Aroma of caramel, rye bread and spices. Flavour of caramel, dried fruits, rye bread and hops.

Bottle. Amber colour. Sweet caramel, wheaty, roasty maltiness and slightly spiced aroma. Flavour: caramel, bit roasted malt, wheaty (past date), bready and some spiced hoppiness.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with powerful notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty again with powerful notes of caramel, but combined with lighter notes of alcohol and wood leading to a bitter end, where the notes of wood lingers.

Sample from bottle. Pours nut brown. Aroma is spicy, cookie, malt and yeast butter notes. Flavour is malty sweet and a touch of bitterhops. Finish is soft malty.
