| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2006 Bottle - swing-top. Clouded gold with a tall foamy white head which is seemingly sturdy but only for a short time. Nose is BIG banana, wheat, and bubblegum notes. Light pleasant yeastiness as well. Taste also elicits a large banana flavor. Big wheat, bubblegum, light lemon, yeast and sweet malts. Body is light-medium and refreshing. Bubbly carbonation feel. I filled my glass with all but the bottom portion containing the yeast, and towards the end, recapped the bottle and violent shook it. I mixed it with the remnants in my glass and it made it a dense gold with lots of sediment suspended in it along with a thick frothy, foamy head. Really pretty glass of beer, indeed. This finishes with lots of fruit notes (banana, light orange and a hint of lemon), wheat yeast and bubblegummy notes. Nice hefeweizen! JohnnyOS (646), Golden, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 21, 2006 Pours translucent golden yellow with foamy tiny bubbly white head. Smells like a banana popsicle. Mild flavor... very mild flavor. Mostly carbonation with a sweet hoppy dull thud in the finish. Not the type of hefe I expected. jbrus (4895), Delft, Netherlands
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 6, 2006 Bottled. Strong sweet almost artificial banana aroma. Hazy, yellow color, white head, good lace. Light sweet, light bitter, bit citric, light banana, soft. Average flavors but also pretty weak. bhensonb (4371), Woodland, California, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 4, 2006 Velvety banana. Minimal head, but I poured this into a Christoffel glass. The banana start finishes with clove. Translucent gold appearance - quite intriguing. As time passes, the clove tends to predominate. Arguably a bit sweet, but that goes with the banana! This may be the most pleasant hefeweizen I’ve had. mjg74 (2000), La Mesa, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 3, 2006 Bottled. Pours a very hazy yellow color. With a foamy white head. Strong yeasty/bubblegum aroma. Sweet flavor of yeast right up front. Very well balanced and refreshing. I like it. damienv10 (108), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 6, 2006 Hazy straw nice white head. Fresh subtle nose, a little spice. Fine crisp carbonation. I taste a little lemon and orange right before the beer turns into water. Other ratings here make me think I just had a bad bottle. Will have to try again. bierkoning (6099), La Tropica, Netherlands

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 2, 2006 btl. just had this from a proper weiss glass. the beer poured nicely with a thick and pretty head. medium effervescence, with a not terribly active mouthfeel. nevertheless, this is a smooth and refreshing beer, with dominant pear and peach flavors and a bit of herbs and clove, the aroma is a tad putrid, but it is not reflected in the taste. not quite as good as paulaner weiss beer in mz opinion, but aint so bad. cheers.
