Apr 14, 2009 Pours opaque yellow-orange with a quickly disappearing white head. Yeast and wheat spice aroma. Taste is wheat with some tartness. Overall a good clean and refreshing beer.

Apr 5, 2009 Sampled at the Impromptu Butter’s 6th cellar clearance. Hazy bright yellow pour with golden highlights and wispy white head. Nose of lemon citrus, clove, pepper. Flavors of lemon, spice, and some yeast. Very good for the style. Good carbonation with some creaminess. One of the better german hefe’s i’ve had.

Mar 11, 2009 Good sized bright white head of fine bubbles. Minimal carbonation. Light grassy and fruity aroma. Some white grape, bananas and some tomato. Pretty sweet smelling. Color is a hazy golden orange. Flavor is sweet and not much in the way of wheat. More light grape and lemon. Bit of spices also. Finishes sweet again with some lingering fruit. A very unusual hefewezen.
