Aug 26, 2008 Flip top bottle best before 881086 (?). Typical hefe look with craggy white head. Smells of banana bubblegum. Taste is a bit on the spicy, clovey side, and is fairly dry. No lemon or orange here. Quite good though.

Aug 15, 2008 In aroma, it has the standard smell of colve, banana, wheat. In appearance, it has a golden color, cloudy, with a lot of carbonation and a fizzy white head. The flavor had a banana sweetness, spicy, and a very slight hop contribution. A little thin in the mouthfeel. Typical to the hefeweizen style, not remarkable. An enjoyable beer not the less. (And I love this cool bottle.)

Aug 6, 2008 500 ml bottle from State Line Liquors in MD. Pours a slightly cloudy gold with a decent white head and good lacing. Aroma and flavor have hints of bubble-gum, bananas and spices. Strong banana in the aroma. Medium carbonation. Overall a very solid hefeweizen.

Jul 27, 2008 500 mL swingtop from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Very cloudy beige pour with a big head that quickly disappeared. A nice earthy, bubblegum aroma. That sounds oxymoronic, but it works. Soft fruity taste with notes of banana, mango, bubblegum.

Jul 14, 2008 Like drinking a banana smoothie. Nice pearly blonde color. A subtle hop flavor that is hard to find, but not missed. Balanced and full flavored. Yeasty and inviting on the nose. Very filling. Very Nice.

Jul 7, 2008 This cloudy yellow beer poured with a large white head that dissipated rather quickly. There is a standard wheat aroma and a refreshing banana bread flavor. If you enjoy hefeweizen, this is a fairly good one.

Apr 26, 2008 Dull cloudy golden with big head. Light citrus and wheat aroma. Mellow banana and wheat in the taste. Refreshing and light to medium bodied. Maybe a bit too carbonated. Great example of the style.

Apr 18, 2008 best of the bunch. Nice aroma and nicer flavor. Appearance was dead on with a true german hefe. I enjoyed this a great deal. Had it at a beer fest, hope to find it on the shelfs somewhere in PA
