cloudy greyish/gold with lots of slow moving lace, underneath a large creamy white head. a nice strong banana, clove, typical hefe aroma. flavor has the usual banana qualities but could be a little spicier. some lemon and mineral notes as well. palate is creamy and body is med-full. a pretty good hefe indeed.

Apple, banana, and raisin bouquet, not strong. Milky yellow with a thick white head.. Dry and very little initial flavor. It gets slightly sweeter at midpalate with mild hints of lemon. Nice clovy cilantro finish. Unimpressive in flavor quality and strength, but has some other really nice attributes.

Bottle sampled. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma of bananas, spices, and cloves. The flavor is slightly sweet, banana, spices, cloves, with mild traces of hops in the finish. Decent body, decennt brew.

500ml bottle-pours a fizzy white head and deep yellow color. Aroma is sweet banana, some wheat. Taste is banana, some wheat, clove, some hops, musty. Starts off fairly average then improves some.

Pours a very clouded gold straw with some white head. Nose is a strong mix of wheat, yeast, and fruit. A good touch of banana Laffy Taffy type fragrance on there. Okay. More than a touch. A lot. Flavor is fairly subdued and stronger with banana than I expected. As it warms it seems to be more appropriate. Feel is good. Nice level of carbonation that coats the tongue. As time went on I appreciated this one more and more. Pretty good actually.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden/orange with a one finger lasting white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of wheat, light yeast, and light citrus. Taste is full of fresh wheat with just a touch of yeast and light citrus. Medium creamy mothfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. Very good.

Poured a hazy yellow with a nice head. Excellent notes of cloves and banana predominate on the aroma. These notes mute up on the palate but give way to more of the hops and grains. Excellent beer.

Poured a murky brown in color. Sturdy white head that quickly dissolved to a thinner scuzzy film. Nose is full of wheat and with just some slight hints of banana and clove. Flavor is solid and true hefe. Rich and sweet wheat provides a solid backbone. I can pick out some solid yeast breadiness. Citrus gives a bit of a bite. Cloves have a nice herbal presence. Banana provides some hints of fruit. Even picked out some honey-like sweetness. Full mouthfeel that is perhaps a bit watery but I have noticed that is fairly common for German hefe offerings. Great, slow drinking evening beer.
