Bottle: Bright yellow, lightly hazy, white head. Nose of clove and overripe banana, some starch and wheat. The flavor is chewy, nice and wheaty, light on the hops though. Clean, not yeasty enough.

bottle, thanks to MoritzF! Pale yellow, cloudy, large head. Fruity and malty with banana flavours. Very thirst-quenching and full of flavour.

Bottle pours a cloudy pale yellow beige. Small whiye head and spotty lacing. Sweet light malt and wheat aroma with honey and cereal flavor.

Pop top on a glass bottle. Cloudy orange color, with a pretty decent head. Aroma is fruity, with spices (cloves mainly) and some hops. The flavor is sweet, with a bread and malt flavor. Bananas and cloves as well. Really good German Hefe.

Ceramic capped bottle from Monster Beverage. Very hazy sunflower yellow pour supporting a tall dense white head with great retention and lacing. Mild yeasty aroma followed by cloves and banana. Much more banana in the flavor with a nice compliment of clove, pepper and apples. Creamy texture and a soft, sweet finish. I was lucky to get a hold of this when still quite fresh and that really allowed it to shine.

Cloudy pale straw body with small white head, lasting. The aroma is slightly fruity, good amount of clove and a touch of herbal hops. The flavor is lightly sweet, some bready, biscuity malts with some banana and clove esters. Medium/light body is soft with moderate carbonation. Not bad, but just doesn’t come together for me.

The initial taste was very surprising. The taste can catch you off guard, it has tons of flavor. Overall I would recommend this beer to those who are afraid of a real strong "beer-taste" but who wants a great beer.

My wife likes Hefes, so Im on a quest to get her beer she likes. This is a good/sour one. A) citrus ripe like. A) bright and hints of apricot. F) Crisp, sour and unrefined. Very apricot and yeast like. P) Tart but full. O) My wife likes it, I think it’s good. We’d have it again.
