| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 29, 2008 It wasn’t bad. I couldn’t remember too much of it because it was my last beer of the day and it was during oktoberfest. Yeah I can’t remember anything. CIPS514 (77), Lawrenceville, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 26, 2008 I was intoxicated at this point but I remember it being a good beer. The pop top was nice and fun and best of all safe. It prevented the cap from flying around and potentially hitting a small child in the eye. Obviously I was intoxicated at the time I wrote my thought on this beer. I am just repeated what I wrote at the time I enjoyed it. jebb12 (39), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Oct 22, 2008 When someone is able to take a very basic beer, i.e. a German Pilsner, using only ordinary ingredients, without showy flair or fancy addiditves, and does that to perfection, then that is a beer worthy of high praise. This is that beer. Wonderful grassy flavor with a balance of sweet and subtle bitterness this is a drinkable but complex product. Best of its kind. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 20, 2008 500ml bottle: poured light yellow with a medium white head. Moderate aroma of grape and apple. Flavor is crisp with apple and grape, finishing up with a nice bitterness. Good. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 25, 2008 Pours gold with very large white head and plenty of lacings. Aroma is very potent Pils and no skunkiness whatsoever. Taste is full tasty Saaz hops with just enough malts to perfect the style. To use an overused expression, this is an "awesome" Pils. Wish it wasn’t $3.00 US for a 21 ounce bottle as I would make this my regular Pils. Hey, I might do it anyway! DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 15, 2008 (Bottle). Nice grass and bready malt aroma. Golden with thin white head. Flavorful malty taste, along with yeast and a touch of bitter. Very nice transition to the finish, which is long and pleasantly bitter. An excellent pils. fredandboboflo (1404), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 5, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of grass, hay, crackery malt. Flavor a bit metallic with the same notes, quite earthy, earthily malty. I believe this is my first Classic German Pils outside of Warsteiner, which apparently does not taste like said style, and while it tastes like a good beer to me, not sure how much I like it.
